During the start of the fight, Maria analyze her opponents and surroundings for her next move. The thug pointing a gun at her is the biggest threat, however he did the mistake of standing too close to her and let his false sense of security get the best of him. Using that chance to disarm and knock him out with her trained reflexes, and then disassemble the gun to reduce the odds against her. Now only got 4 opponents to deal with.
