Now that the introductions were finished it was time to get her to the hotel. "Luckily you'll be able to remember where it is easily," Raihan told her and had offered to help with the luggage to be kind. But she had declined.

"What? You think I can't find my way to it?" she asked, a bit cocky, but also had a hidden smile in her eyes.

"Just doing what I'm supposed to do," he replied. "I have no doubt that you can on your own. Plus it's not out of my way. It's right by the stadium where I battle." They walked in front of the entrance and he pointed over his shoulder with his right thumb. "See?"

"Yeah. Guess I'll have to see what it's all about later," Clair replied. "That's one of the reasons I cam here to get stronger and maybe beat Lance."

"Funny that's how I am with Leon," the male Gym Leader said.

"Who's that?"

"He's the ex champion and was the strongest trainer in Galar until he finally was defeated not that long ago," Raihan explained. "Even so I to will beat him one day as his greatest rival. True I haven't won yet but I've been very close."

Clair took in his words. So what she had been told was true and had a little bit more respect for him. "Well maybe now that he's no longer a champion it'll be a bit easier," the female human commented.

"Yeah and he's distracted more with his girlfriend Sonia. At least I'm happy for them and glad because not only that it can hopefully some things as well," the male Gym Leader stated. 

"What things?" Clair asked as they got near the hotel.

"Well just some odd fans of all three of us that somehow think me and Leon are more than just rivals. It's never been that way at all." Clair could relate with some thinking she and Lance were more than just cousins and other things which revolted him and her. Raihan was also like that as he was straight and certainly not into guys. He knew Leon was like that to. 

"Oh is this it?" Clair then asked and they saw they were at the hotel.

"Yep. So, I'm sure you'd like to sleep in after a long journey. From what I looked up for Johto, it's a long ways from here. I can show you around Hammerlocke whenever you're ready."

"May as well." It was here the two said goodbye and parted ways. But this was only the start of something new and would be better for both.
