[COMIC] James Thornwin, The Metal Swimming Reviser

Share

Another character for the Reviser Legends webcomic and another member of the Artist's Craze crew of Sky Pirates, James Thornwin.

Formerly an orphan, James was adopted from the same orphanage Core was at by a Police Captain Ballast (Race of Sasquatch-like aliens that are in constant cycles of War and Peace) named O'Lidin and his Human wife Alina. James joined the Police force on Valum and had numerous encounters with Core causing trouble, but only catching him a few times, but he was completely obsessed with the Police Force, which his father saw as unhealthy and asked Jones von Bones to bring him onto the ship's crew to serve as Security Captain, as O'Lidin and Jones were drinking buddies, and get James out of the city to experience more than just work.

James' ability is Metal Swimming, which allows him to literally soften metal to the point he can just pass through with little to no effort. This makes traversing the airship as easy as falling or jumping to another level.

James has a rocky but friendly rivalry with the cocky and overeager, Core, and his easygoing older brother, Kunsel, as they tend to cause most of the trouble on the ship but knows to respect Core's authority when off on exploratory missions on the planet or on jobs. He developed an over-dependence on a Valumian brand of coffee called Ballast War Tea.
