The recently discovered Nishimura comet is wrapping up it's inner Solar System vacation, and it's last stop is the Sun! Today, it will make it's closest approach (perihelion) to our host star and get a nice tan in the process.
Nishimura will then spend the next few centuries hanging out at the far reaches of our Solar System and will return again in about 400 years, so be sure to mark your calendars!
