When a mysterious threat of megaversal proportions arises, 7 sorceresses from several different multiverses band together to restore order. This is the Cosmic Coven. In the first issue of the first chapter, Gwen Tennyson and Scarlet Witch meet at Hogwarts, but they still don't know whether or not they can trust each other.

Gwen Tennyson was in one of the universes with the most magical energy she had ever visited, Universe B6.97. She spent a few days at the school of Hogwarts, in disguise, investigating the origin and responsible for the obscene ice magic that had corrupted the men of her universe. A young witch named Hermione Granger was quick to discover Gwen's disguise, and helped her analyze the black ice crystal sample Gwen was carrying.

Hermione took her to the Forbidden Forest, following a trail of that cold dark magic. They arrived in an area of the forest completely covered with black ice and its unexpected scent of chic feminine perfume. Gwen said that she would take over the investigation from there, and Hermione went back to her classes at Hogwarts. In case she needed help, Gwen would talk to Dumbledore, the headmaster of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

On her Earth, in Universe B-7235, a blizzard of black ice began to attack only men, turning them into ice monsters. They were contained in a mystical prison protected by a seal created by Gwen. Kevin helped her, even though he was her archenemy, he wasn't sure if the Omnitrix would keep him in alien form forever to protect him from the black blizzard, so he helped Gwen and the Plumbers contain the monsters, while Gwen searched in other universes a way to heal them.

A blast of red energy hit Gwen's chest, knocking her into a tree, and causing an agonizing burning sensation on her skin. Her enemy was a woman in red with a sharp tiara on her head and evil eyes, levitating in the air like a bloodthirsty fairy. She emanated one of the most unstable forms of magic, chaos magic.

Gwen activated the Charm of Resurrection's power, deactivating the agony spell. She then activated the Amulet of Mana, projecting solid blue energy that formed handcuffs on the invader's hands and feet and kneeled her on the ground.

But the woman in red used a teleportation spell to disappear, and emerge into the air behind Gwen Tennyson, her hands conjuring blades of energy about to penetrate her skull. Gwen tried to dodge it using her accelerated reflexes, developed with a lot of martial arts training and in battles against Kevin's alien Rush, but she wasn't that quick, and she felt something hot and sharp touch her head. Rolling on the floor, Gwen realized that she was facing a sorceress more powerful than Charmcaster, and realized that she would have to appeal to the Anodite Charm.

Whispering verses in an ancient occult language, the woman in red herself marveled at the shaking in the fabric of reality, as an extremely powerful artifact was summoned from another plane of existence, and a storm of clouds and rosy lightning began to erupt around Gwen. The chaos invader tried to stop Gwen by making her mouth disappear, but it was too late. Gwen Tennyson had entered Anodite Mode, a being made of magic, like a fairy or angel.

Gwen reached out to fire a blast of mana, but her opponent created a dozen clones of her to confuse the enemy, while trying to attack her mind from behind and try to destroy her human part. At this moment, the two saw part of each other's memories. Gwen was fighting Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch.

A mutant from Universe B2.63 (Multiverse B2, Megaverse B, Ultraverse Kaph), a former ally of Magneto and leader of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. When she lost her children to her own life of villainy, she abandoned this path, and began to seek redemption from her past. When the men of Latveria were attacked by the black blizzard, Wanda was present, and she received help from Dr. Fate to find the person responsible and destroy him. Wanda, like Gwen, used a Cosmic Key to travel through Megaverse B.

Gwen reverted to human form, returning the Anodite Charm to the other plane of existence, and helped Wanda get up.

The two team up and continue to investigate together. They find a 4 meter tall ice crystal, looking like a cocoon of something. When Wanda tried to see what was inside, a protective seal was triggered and the crystal shattered in a mystical explosion. Out of it came a unicorn-shaped ice monster.

The monster attacked them with freezing blasts, and the two sorceresses fought together, Gwen used the Charm of Pyrokinesis to attack with fire, and Wanda tried to combine her manipulation of probabilities to destroy the spell that kept the monster alive. But it was too powerful, and with a fierce neigh, he knocked them both out with a black ice attack.

Afterwards, Scarlet Witch woke up, frozen next to Gwen, who was still passed out. With her magic, she broke the ice, and woke Gwen up. Apparently, the ice monster had used a sleep-inducing spell, a sign that he couldn't, or didn't want to kill the two sorceresses. Now he was going to Hogwarts.

They went after the monster, and Professor Dubledore, Snape, and McGonagall appeared to help them.

Together, they defeated the black ice monster, which melted black water with the scent of spoiled perfume, and leaving only a horse skeleton behind, a skeleton decorated with glowing red ruby-like crystals, which began to lose their luster, erasing , and turn to ashes, which flew with the wind and disappeared.

Dubledore gave Gwen and Wanda a valuable clue, the Lens of the Quest, an ancient monocle-like relic that allowed a wizard who used it to locate anything he had ever possessed and could see in his mind. Grateful for this clue, and with the mystical signature of the ice monster they had just defeated, the two set off with their Cosmic Keys to another universe, home to Earth B1.37, where the world was protected by Amazons of Truth, Dark Knights and Men of Steel.
