In the universe B10.72 (Multiverse B10, Megaverse B, Ultraverse Kaph) Gwen Tennyson was with her cousin and grandfather starting a travel, when the Omnitrix capsule crashed to Earth, taking the life of Ben, who ran after the meteorite while it was falling. The watch was found by Kevin, who was nearby, and later, while traveling with her grandfather, Gwen found the 10 Charms of Bezel.

Kevin went on to use the Omnitrix for evil, and Gwen became a hero with the power of the 10 Charms: manipulating mana, fire, wind, rocks, water, resurrection and regeneration, probabilities, teleportation, telepathy, and the mysterious power of the Tenth Charm, which, according to legend, was made out of the soul of a female pink angel, from beyond the stars.

Kevin has always tried to manipulate the watch, disassemble it and improve it, and he was able to activate functions that even he didn't know how to control, such as Fusions, Ultimate Forms, Omni-Kix, Omni-Naut and Omni-Enhanced.

For the next 10 years, Gwen protected Earth from alien, mystical, and terrestrial threats. She became a Plumber, fought alongside the Saturday family against magical creatures, and helped Professor Paradox defeat Eon. Fought against Kevin several times, and also, alongside him, when greater challenges - like Vilgax - forced them to team up. 

There was a romantic tension between them, but Kevin always returned to choosing the path of evil, and when he unlocked more powerful aliens such as Atomix, Way Big, Gravattack and Clockwork, he took revenge on Gwen by breaking into a plumber's base, destroying the place, and killing her Grandpa Max and several of Gwen's old friends.

To stop him, Gwen used the power of the Tenth Charm, the Anodite Charm, which allowed her to temporarily convert her body into condensed magic, becoming a being of star-level power, as powerful as Atomix.

She gathered her magical relics and reread her spell books, analyzed the situation, and formed a plan, considering the weaknesses of Kevin's new aliens that she studied in the Plumbers' files.

The battle between the two took place on another plane of existence, where Gwen could unleash all her power. She cried as she faced Kevin, for she loved him, and she knew there was a lot of goodness inside him. He could stop all that at any time, but his grudge and pride drove him to revenge, and he chose the pleasure of hate and war in place of the humiliation of love and sacrifice.

Kevin was never able to access the Alien-X, as if the Omnitrix itself didn't trust the user, and tried to protect the DNA, but Kevin was able to grant part of the Celestialsapien's powers to his fusion of Atomix, Gravattack, Way Big, Clockworck and Osmosian, making him more powerful than a cosmic entity.

Gwen was only able to defeat him when she hacked the Omnitrix with magic, which was only possible because Kevin had already damaged many of the watch's security functions, and also, Gwen suspected, the watch itself wanted to be defeated. But as Gwen's “harmatia”, even in her Anodite Mode, was electricity, casting a spell of the same element of her mystic weakness nearly killed her, and the Charms of Bezel have been weakened since the end of that battle.

Gwen has kept Kevin imprisoned in her personal pocket dimension, and visits him, trying to talk to him, but he doesn't want anything to do with her. Today, at the age of 20, Gwen remains Earth's main hero and has saved the universe twice.

So when a blizzard of black ice passed through Bellwood, turning the men into fierce monsters of black ice, the plumbers helped Gwen contain them as she set out across the multiverse, following the magical signature of the black ice blizzard, in search of the responsible for this unholy magic and a cure for the men who were turned into monsters.
