A portrait of a very special person. This took roughly 15-20 hours. I was practicing photo-realism at the time (still am) and this was my first piece. I can see a lot of things that I could've done better but lacked the knowledge then. Even today I don't realize the changes that I should've made until I'm done and unwilling to go back on a project. Chop it up ladies and gentlemen!

Good I think ?

Background and facial porportions are exceptional the thing that really brought this down however is the nose and mouthreminds me of the joker =\

banegame responds:

Thank you. I suspect if I tried at this piece again, today (roughly 5 years later) it might look legit. Maybe not though considering I'm now an FX animator!! YAY!

cant tell.

cant tell if this is a really photo nice work =] how was it done hope you get back at me =]

banegame responds:

This was created in PS CS4 using a Wacom. I used a photo as reference. My technique is to use the 'ruler' view and place 'guide lines' to help proportion the piece. It is indeed a drawing (except the BG. Photo composite) and the first in a a series. I am currently drawing one of my kid which I will be posting a time-lapsed video of the process! So you can see my work come to life! Hope that helps

WOW!!

This is amazing! All exept the mouth...Otherwise I CANNOT BELIVE THIS IS NOT A PICTURE!!!!

banegame responds:

Thanks. Yep, the mouth is a little jacked isn't it. No problem though, I'm honing the skills. Please stay informed as I will be uploading a lot in coming months of an animation I am creating as well as random bits of art I do to keep things fresh!
