The Breadstan War (July 2025-???)

Breadstan, a failing state on the Yeast Peninsula, tolerated radical gastronomic groups like Al-Bread too busy infighting to overthrow the government. Their black sugar trade lined officials' pockets, while the corrupt army avoided confrontation.

Everything changed when a U.S.A. (United Sugared America) drone strike missed militia targets, hitting civilians instead. As bread riots erupted, the sugary superpower deployed troops to "restore order" and secure the black sugar trade.

Reinforcements are coming soon to fight the insurgents. Breadnistán's government has been overthrown and replaced with a U.S.A aligned leader. The nation's fate now hangs in the balance between the Coalition and the rebels.
