leather and fleece blindfold

Share

this is Pt.2 of my bondage set,

Part one can be found here: https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/anymany/flogger-whip

this was significantly harder to do that the whip, i 've seen some sets that only fold the fleece edges in and sew it directly to the outside leather. i feel like that isnt be the best way to do it

a while ago, when i was living in mexico, I remember seeing people working of furniture on my was to the bust stop and i remembered how the had a frame that they made and stretch the fabric over so that they could stuff it and then they would add a cover to hide it

similarly to how a canvas is built, so i took inspiration from it

i made a crude template of a facemask using circles and some odd geometry to get something resembling a blindfold , i then cut out the outer 1.5cm edge and used that as the frame for the fleece

you can see the i cut the top part from the bottom part, that is so that i would have enough space to add the straps without having to add with to it

i made another blindfold template and that is the cover, i decided to add some stuffing to fill the empty space and to softly force the person to close their eyes, it feel like there's a plushy against your eyes

sewing it actually when horrible. its super hard to control the speed of the sewing machine so i have to turn the handle manually .

some parts were so thick that it was ridiculously hard to turn it at times and my machine also false stitched multiple time so it left really ugly holes on the top cover which is a real bummer.

my machine also has a lot of trouble fitting stuff this this under the foot so it really hard to see, overall a pain the the ass

i added a double ring buckle for three reasons,

  1. its easier to make, its literally two rings, I dont have to buy special buckles like i would if i went for a regular belt buckle
  2. it allows for unlimited tightness control. I find that some belts are too tight in one hole and one hole down is too lose, the double ring design allows for finer control over it which is good since too much pressure isn't good for the eyes
  3. the straps are relatively thin, adding holes can cause it to rip over time

although I'm upset that it doesn't look as perfect as i would like im still really happy with the result

total cost, about 60 USD, cost of production(material wise only) around 15 USD
