i though of this piece when i took a look at my own desktop. to be fair, im not a game dev(yet) but whenever make things or go on my own little rabbit holes i get sidetracked easily and end up with a bunch of tabs opened. sometimes i can click up to 5 times to get the tab and window that i want.

originally, they were going to be smaller but i fount it really hard to cram some programs in a 6x4 area. in wanted to keep the 3:2 ratio so i scaled it up to 9x6 canvas which was a bit easier, it was still hard to incorporate things like thumbnails. there is a lot of abstract art going on in the thumbnails

the desktop is a representation of the windows xp default background since that was the first thing i came up with when it thought of computer background
