Once a poor boy living in the streets later adopted by the Royal Family after discovering his skills and capabilities as the Prince (The man who would become Peach's Father) sees him for what he's worth and many years of bonding and adventures together, now serves as the Royal Family's Most Trusted Bodyguard.

Toad would Spend his youth on the streets mugging and stealing money and food for him to survive and was able to evade capture because he's a skilled fighter (even in Street Fighting material) and is able to evade chasing adversaries. However when he found out that the Royal Family would come to the town he's in, he would plan to steal from them however he would be captured after a young Prince fight him to a somewhat equal fight even when he's wearing a more restrictive outfit with his suit and tie getting damaged. The Prince impressed by his skills and hearing from his background would decided with permission to adopt the straggler into the castle at first everyone is uneasy for his decision may sound stupid but as time went on as the Royalty and the Prince would begin to educate the boy he would grow into a far cry of what he once was, learning manners and elegance, he would learn basic to advanced education that people from the most prestigious universities could learn and eventually when given the trust, would begin training his skills with him and the King sparring whenever training occurs. Overtime both bonded to the point of it leading to a brotherly bond, even making him a ceremonial uncle towards The Prince's Newborn daughter.

This would last until the day the Koopas have invaded The Kingdom, as all entrance and exits would be covered by Koopas, both the King and Toad would made the decision to head towards an exit where only Peach could fit in and escape and He and Toad would separate to Fight the enemy that had destroyed their country. Both sacrificing their lives for the betterment of Peach and the potential to revive the sparks of Hope and bring justice to the Cruel.
