I have a fondness for silly looking B-Movie Monsters from the 1950's & 60s where the designs of the creatures all look so cheap and stupid looking. Just the fact that the movie is taken so seriously and the design of the monster is so unconvincing as it fumbles around to cause "terror" is both hilarious and entertaining. So i came up with my own one. MAN OF OCTOPUS!

The name "MAN OF OCTOPUS" came from an inside joke between me and my girlfriend from playing Spider-Man PS4, where it was so obvious Otto Octavius was going to become Doc Ock with the foreshadowing throughout the game, and i began refering to him as MAN OF OCTOPUS whenever i had to web swing back to his lab. This in turn inspired me to draw an Octopus-like monster about to aggressively throw the damsel in distress in the ocean rather than carrying her in its arms, as was a common thing with monster movie posters of that era to make it funnier
