I like the simplification of the tail and hair a lot ^0^ though I think it's a shame to lose the blue design on the "skirt", I think it looks a bit boring as just flat green. :S

This wasn't so much a redesign as a quick exercise to look at it from another angle. There're definitely aspects of both that I'd incorporate into a final design.
