Unlike the Spittor, Injector, and Claw Jaw pieces, this one is based on a character from the CGI show...sort of. I specifically wanted to do art of the toy design. I also did some palette swapping!

The main image is the "Fox Kids" version of Dinobot, or "Live Wire", as it was intended to be (from what I've read). It's also the one I actually have, lol.

The second is the original Dinobot from 1996. I always liked how a lot of the older toys had translucent parts, which gave them a more organic feel in some cases. And I was able to emulate that on the legs and halves of the "mutant head" after finding out about the "lock alpha channel" feature in GIMP. That was a real game changer for me.

The third one from 1997...probably not too many remember fondly, due to suffering from Gold Plastic Syndrome (GPS) - it's Grimlock! And yes, he is literally THAT Grimlock, as his toy bio flat-out says so. It's ironic, the toy started out as Dinobot, but thanks to the animation model's design, the toy design is generally reserved for Grimlock now (obviously using these colors). Aside from the GPS, the colors are pretty neat.
