Hear me out- what if Cooper and Lucy were a Falmer and Dwemer duo?!?!?!?! The parallels are crazy!!! The vanishing race- one comes back up to the surface- the feral snow elves roam the empty Dwemer ruins...I MEAN C'MON MAN.
And yea, Coop still has a cowboy accent the same way Barbas talks like he's from Brooklyn.
