The Crystal Spike is a spell focus utilized by Aleyessa. Since the most important part is the crystal, the weapon will change in appearance multiple times over the course of the plot, depending on the shaft it is attached to. This very first iteration is basically a makeshift cudgel, made by Maneva as a birthday present for her friend. It won't actually be used in action, since Aleyessa will already have mounted the crystal on an actual staff, when the two meet again.

The Crystal has no distinct elemental affinity and allows Aleyessa to make use of her full magical arsenal, including her devastating Anima Bomb.
