I haven't done a traditionally inked drawing since January, six months ago. It feels nice to do it again. I've got to invest in a new, larger scanner so I can make larger drawings and maybe even comic pages.
With my new full-time job, I won't have much time to do art with nearly the same frequency. I was planning on doing a sequel to the cover album Mega Man Mega Drive, which features a bunch of Mega Man covers done on the SEGA Genesis's sound chip, the YM2612. It was going to have a cover of the intro stage from Mega Man X3 and Heart of Electric / The Electric Dancefloor from Mega Man Perfect Blue by RRTheil. Since Perfect Blue is a fangame, I was hoping it would be a surprise to listeners it would appear in the album.
Doing YouTube and YouTube thumbnail art, manga art, music, filmmaking, and animation as well as freelance versions of all that is proving impossible with this new job. Until things change, Mega Man Mega Drive 2 will be on indefinite hiatus.
In terms of YouTube, there will be a few new episodes of Totally Good at Games. Darren and I have finally come together to record after a long hiatus and the results are pretty funny! I'm very happy with the way that recording session turned out. I don't know when the next batch of episodes will be out because, as I said before, my free time has become very slim. But I hope you look forward to these new things!
