Based on the four starting characters from my current RimWorld playthrough, these are a group of coastal bandits, rough scrappers, and ultimately honorable pirates dedicated to an adventurous life of glory, power, and freedom.
Their four leaders are the dragonborn captain and general hard worker Klara, the orcish diplomat and strongwoman Valgus, the goblin inventor and shanty-singer Pickle, and the expert doctor, chef, and plantworker Blanca.
This was largely experimental, testing out a variety of new drawing strategies, having a better understanding of anatomy and proportions, and pushing my comfort zone and drawing some things I don't usually draw (For example, I don't usually draw a lot of women, it's not something I really thought about all that much, I just worried about misrepresentation, offense, or even just not being good at it.) Now that I've pushed past worrying too much about that, it's allowed me to get more comfortable with drawing a wider range of characters.
This drawing also gave me some nice opportunities to get creative with basic prompts in the form of the equipment, gear, armor, and clothing of the characters, which is below their character portraits.
Despite this piece's relative simplicity, it took more than 6 hours to create, which I reckon is probably because it took the same amount of effort as my usual drawings (other than getting out of my comfort zone and all that) and that effort was spread amongst 4 characters instead of the usual 1.
