was suggested to draw a crab knight and a jellyfish cleric so i came up with these two.

it was interesting working with different inspirations (specifically the Sally Lightfoot Crab and the Pacific Sea Nettle) and figuring how they'd work when shifted to a humanoid context! to be specific, i found that crustacean exoskeletons are great inspiration for armour, with very fun, angular shapes that interlock in very interesting, specific ways, whereas jellyfish have all kinds of funky patterns and lines, in addition to often being semitransparent and having like visible canals/veins and stuff, which i studied and combined with the visual concepts of stretch marks and other skin features!
