LUMOS BINARY STAR SYSTEM

Share

The third of 3 star system maps for my "Collision Megaverse" setting, originally made for a Lancer campaign called "Knights of Neo-Azarth" that didn't work out. The Lumos binary star system is home to the Light Kingdom, a civilization of humanoids dedicated to actually trying to do the right thing for once. The planet of Neo-Azarth faced an extremely high amount of interdimensional activity during the Collision thanks to its strong ties to the space-time continuum itself (which is also true for other variations of Azarth), resulting in most of the planet being extremely dangerous thanks to all kinds of strange magical weather, spatial rifts, temporal faults, titanic creatures, corrupted environments, etc. The Light Kingdom itself is surrounded by large walls and a powerful magitech forcefield, and the cities within it beautifully blend different types of architecture with the natural environments they were built upon. A prominent example is the capital of Technopolis, where huge vines and plants are interwoven with towering futurist skyscrapers of white metal and glass.

There's a LOT more to be said about the Lumos system, such as its binary stars, Neo-Azarth's crystalline moon Cegradus, even how the light of said stars refracts through said moon, you can see I'm already rambling, but I'll cut it short there.
