Animations and art assets I made for the Slime Barrel Game Jam I made with @JJGamez64 and music from @Troisnyx. The game is called Nimbus Harmonica. I was kind of in a rush since I joined 2 days late in a 7 day game jam and I only started learning animation a week before. I think I made a mistake by not doing proper lines since it made coloring harder. It was really fun to do these and I learned quite a bit in the whole thing.
Jump animation animated on 3s because of time constraints
Dash/Glide animation animated on 3s again because of time constraints.
a 256x256 icon for the game
Dust effect unfortunately I didn't get to color it so it looks slightly out of place in the game lol.
Background clouds and stars(top right), they are separate elements with transparency so they can be spawned randomly.
Cloud rings.
These are cloud platforms.
And this is one of the guides on how to integrate the animations, I think they just look cool in sprite format like this.
And Finally here is the final character sheet. Technically I guess this is my first OC with actual names.
I would like to do something like this again cause it was quite a fun experience!

Great stuff, your style blends super well into animation. The outlines are a bit rough but I've only noticed that here and not in-game so I don't think it really takes away at all
Yeah, looking back I should have made clean lines which would have made coloring pretty easy, but I thought I didn't have the time lol. So in the end it actually took more time than If I had clean lines to color with.
I've never seen anyone take so well to the process in such a short amount of time. You are an absolute gem to work with :)
