This just makes me miss Miiverse even more. I loved going to random communities for games you wouldn't think would have drawings, to find people's derpy or funny drawings about them. Something about a forum that everyone had access to by default, that revolved around drawing made for a super fun experience.

I once trolled this kid in some kind of gravity falls game's community because he tried to write 'Sup Pinetree' but it came out looking like 'SU-PINDREO' I found this hilarious for some reason, so I would redraw his drawings, and add in 'SU-PINDREO!' and some kind of derpy looking bird from his original. This went off and on for a few months when I decided to check miiverse for his confused replies, til eventually like 2 years go by while I'm off doing other things.

Login one day and see he's posted a new drawing, redraw it with a SU-PINDREO! and get a delighted reply days later of "It's you! You came back!" followed by Miiverse death a short time later.

Always look back fondly on those interactions lol
Swapnote was a good attempt to preserve the fun of Miiverse, but given it was opt in and you had to look for drawing communities and had a friend limit, it never really got to soar to the same heights :( I still really liked Nikki and all of her cute drawings though.

This brings back a lot of memories of flipnote
