Reviews for "Skears DX"

I liked it but

I couldnt get passed the bit at the end were the red & purple block are droping from the top. They get to fast.

PS i did it without even knowing about the hold mouse thing :D

AcidDimensions responds:

I don't think that holding down the mouse button really helps you much in this game...

Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope you'll try it again someday. I'm getting a bit worried with all these folk saying the last level is too hard tho'

Great job

Last level is kinda impossible though.

AcidDimensions responds:

Looks like a lot of other folk agree with you, but keep at it!

Even I have a bit of trouble with some bits, but it's definitely possible. All the testers (apart from one) managed it...

how simpel looking can a game be

amazing game...I was almost starting to blam this, when I noticed the brilliance of it all...easy to play, butt hard to master...
I had similar idea once ,where player had to move his cursor through the labyrint, whitout touching the walls...but I didnt, because it required some actionscripting skills...maybe you could make it...

AcidDimensions responds:

Simplicity is definitely what I was going for. It could be a bit cleaner in retrospect, but I'm still fairly happy with it.

Glad you enjoyed it all.

Your idea was already in my mind. Shall say no more about that.

Stay funky,
Bez

Not Bad

It's worth one play through but being as bare bones as it is I didn't feel the urge to keep at it. It could really use some sound effects and manybe music. The graphics are very simple but so it the gameplay so that's not a huge problem.

AcidDimensions responds:

I'm sorry that it wasn't enough to keep you interested.

I thought of having a wee bleep whenever you pick up a purple skear, but that turned out too annoying...

I didn't really see the point in including music, since you may as well put on your favourite CD, rather than be forced to listen to my choice of soundtrack.

Thanks for the positive review though. At least it's worth a play through. :)
