You have to prioritize your mothership strength over the ships early in the game. Later in the game, the alien ships become stronger and your job shifts to protecting them from the Earth missiles. Fun to play through!

Becomes expensive way to fast. Ship upgrades become the biggest drain of money, and i lose my best ships seconds after spending money to get new ones.
Great animations and clean designs, but so FUCKING annoying in terms of literally every other aspect of this game

You need to prioritise more. You don't need to launch the max number of ships all the time. If you can't replace a lost ship immediately it's probably not worth it. Keep a modest fleet active and save up for better upgrades!

Clicker games are supposed to be long, but that's because you start automating the clicking and you don't need to be in the game the whole time. When you make it so that you need to be in the game clicking all the time to not lose hours of progress it becomes tiresome and boring. I still haven't finished the game but the humans destroying a lot of my expensive ships right as I buy them doesn't really make me want to.
Also, upgrades become too expensive too fast, and managing my ships isn't really fun when it slows me down SOO MUCH.
Everything besides the gameplay is awesome tho, so I wouldn't say it's a bad game overall.

It sounds like you need to prioritise your spending a bit more. Endlessly launching ships will just eat up your bone supply. Keep the fleet to what's affordable and save up for the better upgrades!
