Reviews for "Waha's Robot Daze"

yeah its fun but i cant figure out how to really play this but i cant figure how to play it

I mean...
The art and music are kinda cool...
But the game in general it's really janky

cool game is look like wario woods

I bumped into several glitches in arcade mode, If you hold Z to speed up the cutscene, She sometimes runs up the door instead of opening it, softlocking the game. Sometimes a bomb or and enemy gets stuck mid-air, and kills you when the roof lowers.

Not to mention the overbearing enemy spawn rate in the later levels, Sometimes I got like thirty of a bot and Zero bombs in their color.

BUT

The character design is amazing.
The story mode is fun (Unless your going for that S rank achievement),
The animation is stellar,
and it's nice to see a successor to Wario's woods.

Overall, A great game with a few kinks that can be sorted out.

I like it a lot, generally speaking. It's a simple and pretty fun spin on the match 3 puzzle game format, and the art and writing are charming. I often find myself robbed of achievements due to connection failures and I'm happy that the arcade mode has checkpoints to prevent this from being a massive problem.

Gonna have to dock a star for some frustrating gameplay issues though. Chiefly, I think Waha starts walking too quickly after I press the arrow button. Many times now I've wanted to pick something up and then walked on top of it, had to walk back to a position I could pick it up from, and on occasion repeated the process before getting to finally move it where I wanted it. When I'm pressed for time this gets very frustrating. Maybe having some kind of stand still button could ameliorate this without slowing down movement when not needed. Secondly there's a glitch where if I'm walking under the falling block as it falls it can get stuck suspended in the air, where I can't pick it up but it can still be the thing to kill me because the spikes lower onto it. I can give it its gravity back by creating a pillar tall enough to reach it and walking underneath it but this is once again quite annoying when I'm pressed for time. Hopefully these things can get ironed out in future.

Also, sorry to hear about the Unity thing. That's gotta be frustrating.
