Reviews for "_-={Solemn Stone}=-_"

Awesome!

It's like there's a warrior travelling to a distance, and there's impending danger going on... and there are also other unknown things happening... then there's the scream of many men... it's such a beautiful piece! very well-done! loved it! 10/10 and 5/5. I agree with your say on the hopelessness at the end. And I think because of that, the warrior is killed, thus the "shwing" sound or something. Again, loved it. Keep making music, so that someday, when I become a good flash movie maker, I may use them! I will learn, someday, to make flash... so be ready!!!

MaestroRage responds:

when that day comes, let me know amador. We'll tear Newgrounds a new one eh >;)?! Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it! I apologize for the late response!

Very cool!

Not much I can say about this that wouldn't have been said already! It's amazing once again!

One question for auxo, though... if you like it, why did you give it 0 stars? I suppose you just forgot... regardless, this piece is amazing, as all your works seem to be!

MaestroRage responds:

yeah, the system back then would let the review go by if you forgot to rank, and give it a 0. Oh well, I know he liked it, thats enough for me ^^.

Thank you for the review Bukkarooo, glad you liked it! Sorry about the late response!

A misty fate awaits a a strong oppresor...

This piece was spectacular! I was on the edge of my seat until I heard the sounds of battle and the cheers of people about three quarters of the way through and that completely blew me out of my mind. By the way, was that LadyArsenic I heard? I had trouble descerning her from carbon voices made by your Fruityloops program. (She's getting better if she's starting to sound like that!) One last thing, could you if possible send me some feedback on the chapters of the story I sent you. I'd really appreciate it. ANYWAYS...on to the story. A young warrior enters a grand colloseum. He is surrounded be cheering nobility at his ill fortune for he is one of the many oppresors who fight against the cruel empire that rules with a iron fist against the poor and unfortunate throughout the land. He is the first of those starting a revolution throughout the land and is sentenced to die at the hands of five warriors in a fighting colloseum called Solemn Stone (sound familiar? lol) The warriors arrive from the gates and the young warrior is given a sword. At the center of the colloseum is the very stone in which it was named after. The five warriors rush at the young opponent all at once. However, in a movement in which could only be described as instantaneous, the young warrior does a complete 360 degrees, ducking under the other's blows while slicing cleanly at their stomaches. The crowds cheer at his effort and he then takes one of his opponents swords and inscribes on the stone "Freedom is never and shall never truly be free.", slices horizontally through the lines and then splatters the blood that stains his own sword over the inscription to show that he will fight to his own death for the prize and worth of freedom.

MaestroRage responds:

Well my goodness, how did I miss this review. I gotta tell you Zen, this redesign is beginning to rub me the wrong way in regards to reviews >:(. It was hard enough to keep track before, now it's a complete guessing game. Click and look...

Sadly no this is not Lady Arsenic, more of my own attempts to make a realistic voice. I am glad you find it difficult to tell them apart, that means i'm doing SOMETHING right.

""Freedom is never and shall never truly be free.", slices horizontally through the lines and then splatters the blood that stains his own sword over the inscription to show that he will fight to his own death for the prize and worth of freedom."

I loved this segment. For I could not agree with it more. Well written... well written indeed.

Your story is one that reflects well on the piece, you have the initial idea right, the foundational story doesn't involve fighting other enemies, but preparing to fight the monster that terrorizes the country!

In any case, I loved the story, and the review. Thank you. I'm glad you liked the piece. Once again, I apologize for the late responses...

Professional

Wow. You could seriously use this in the movie "Gladiator". It fits perfectly.

Wow i don't got much to say except you rule at classical.

Well im off to review "A Place For Dreams".

See ya later man and keep up the awesome work!

MaestroRage responds:

hey F-777 :D!

Gladiator movie you say eh? There is a story say 2-3 reviews below yours written by Dreamshire himself for the full story of whats going on here if you're interested.

Though I can definitely see the gladiator imagery, I bet it was those cheering crowds! I love that crowd!

Thanks for the review, i'm glad you liked it ;)!
