This is going right to the iPod. Love the guitar and the meledy of the lyrics fits well. Drums are great as well which is very rare to find here. I like how you kept it accoustic and quality yet the beeping synth meledy was perfect for the song.

Although this entire song was composed virtually, I intentionally did the EQing and filters to give it a grungy ("acoustic" as you put it) sound. The synth was actually thrown in on impulse.
Anyway, glad you like it, and it was a fun song to play on SCGMDX3.

It's has good tune and lyrics. But some of the vocals are out of tune compared to the music itself. Still good though.
In the chorus, I intentionally sang in a diminished-5th melodic line for "...lyin' awake in the fade..." and "...defined by the choices you make..." in the same tradition that bands like Breaking Benjamin do.
On a further note, this song's music was actually inspired from listening to Breaking Benjamin (as some of you may have suspected by the way the drums play in the song).

hmm the singing and guitar playing doesnt layer perfectly. cant tell what but theres something wrong with it.
anyways i dont like the song that goes with the melody very much. allthough its one of the best melodies i have heard in my entire life and thats saying a lot

i fell in love with this song when i was playing scgmd3 and wow im addicted to it, downloaded it, learned it on guitar....which reminds me... the guitar there basically sings man! fantastic. my fav part of the song was from the beginning up to 04:06. hehe;)
