Reviews for "Rail or Die"

Really awesome game! I love the concept and had a lot of fun
Only reason I'm not rating it higher is that it saves when you get to a new place, meaning whenever you die you have to redo everything you did at that place.
I had no idea where the train's health bar was until day 22. I died a lot. So it got kind of annoying continuously looting places and crafting stuff over and over without progress, and depressing to realize I could have been not dying the whole time if I had used more repair kits. It's my fault for not seeing the health bar, but still

It is one of those games I'd love to play again just to waste some time. Though not perfect,
it is pretty fun and the repetitiveness makes it easy to just play as a non-brainer.
Just a few points I'd like to add.
- Although I learned it pretty fast, a tutorial about the constructions would be
pretty neat.
- Some quality of life changes, like a border or a strong shade effect on the items you've already crafted that are pretty
costly and some kind of orange/gold border that tells the player they've already looted the crate

It's Birdemic on a train, Pretty fun, got a little repetitive by about day 25 but I pushed until I unlocked everything on day 38. Felt good to play, I think it just needs more variety in locales,
enemies and events. Also, I think it would help if the game was a bit more challenging.

The train's max heath should be lowered somewhat, and repair kits should cost workbench tools on top of the light sheets, but heal the train a bit more so it feels like a risky investment for short-term survival instead of a slight tax on resources.

Introducing more new enemy types (Like maybe a mini-boss vulture constituting a single wave on it's own, or a bird that latches onto a turret, disabling it for a time or until it's shot) and changing scenery every now and then could help with the game's longevity. Maybe an end goal to work towards like a craftable communication beacon in the milling machine that ends the game.

I really enjoyed that game as it is, but it still has lots of potential!

really good game, but there was a bug were it deleted my save file

Nice idea and good game, really cool)
