I liked this game. It wasn't that hard at first, but the level with nothing but spikes really turned me off. I still appreciate this game for how wholesome it is. That ring looked like a doughnut. Well, I guess most rings do. I liked how the spikes look like bombs.

I wasn't expecting skulls and stuff to be in Heaven at all. Well, it's still a cute game. It's about earning wings! We usually reserve "It's A Wonderful Life" for that stuff. You have to work for these medals!

so i think i got the mechanics down, had some trouble with the first spike level and ESPECIALLY the second one. wall-jumping is really easy, but timing dashes while falling was too hard for me. the ring just falls too fast. i also think i accidentally skipped the opening cutscene? it said press any button, and i clicked space and then i was in the game haha.

i think it's pretty nice. more levels and obstacles would be for the better, as it is pretty short. music/sfx as well (maybe it was just missing for me? i have no idea. couldn't hear it). also, maybe make it fall a bit slower? i don't know, it maybe just was me who missed some mechanic besides the in-air dashing, bouncing and wall-jumping.

also, quick tip: if you dash diagonally up-left instead of dashing up, it works sorta like a double jump, and cancels out your downward momentum! i definitely would have preferred to make the game a little longer, but time constraints, and all. glad you liked it despite the hiccups!

there should’ve been music but no SFX sadly, we’ll definitely have some longer games in the future but this was a game we made in 2 days for a mini jam! :D so it is admittedly a bit short- i’m really glad you overall enjoyed it! i hear you about the dashes being difficult to time, i think as the height increases the rate in which you have to time it speeds up as well :P !!

After some tries, i finally completed the game. I think i got the hang of the bounce: you have to dash right before touching the ground. Took a while to figure out tho, but at the end i enjoyed the game, it was very relaxing. Next time you should try to make the bounce mechanic a little easier to handle

Pretty good.

On one hand, apart from the lack of sound effects, I thought this was a pretty neat precision platformer with solid presentation and a decent set of mechanics and obstacles to go through, and I always like a challenge.

But on the other hand, I had a really frustrating time with this game in contending with the controls: for some reason I just couldn't get the bounce to work consistently, particularly when trying to go for height, as it just felt random on whether it would get height or not. I tried all sorts of different methods to get it to work but it felt like I had to fight the game every inch of the way just to have it work with me.

Even taking my issues with the bounce away, the game just felt overly slippy/bouncy and too fast all-around, as well as way too short with the levels getting way too hard too fast to make up for that shortness. A good attempt, but precision platformers like this need to be extra solid with their controls to make everything feel fair, and this felt very confusing in that regard.
