This is a pretty neat game for its small scope. Maybe you can expand on this into something bigger and better. Also, I would like gamepad support please.

Graphics remind me of playing the original Gameboy. The controls could be tricky to others, but they worked well enough for me. The difficulty could be challenging for some, but my years of video game experience helped me defeat it easily. It was nice for a short fight, but you should add more combat. Next time, add a few levels and maybe another boss or two.
The medals work, and I earned them.
The game doesn't seem to reward not shooting, I would suggest that you switch the attack button to be always on, and when pressing the button you stop shooting. Balancing needs some work, the damage that you deal the enemies is too little, so the game takes a very long time and you get bored quicker.

Beautiful pixel game
I love the green and the old style of game here kind of like its back on the gameboy style, the shooter is nice and very fun Well this here was a beautiful game if pixel with some really nice game style but what I really liked about this is the pixel art and graphics that comes forward and you really push that style into the game so nice pixel element here
