I thought "pass" was a kinda useless move but then I figured out its actually the key toavoid bleeding out and even actually win the bets.
Zver gives the best payoff. Orlok isn't really worth it as penalty of hitting the V card is way too high, while with Zver you can kind of cheese with the radar token.
Every round rush the row with radar, worst case scenario you lose 20-30 points.
Use the radar, flip cards outside the danger zone for an extra token.(but make sure you leave 3 cards untouched)
If you can work out 100% where the V card is, stake it for the win.
If not, just pass, you walk away with 30-40 points.

Pretty good probability deduction game. You can end up getting the vampire on your first card, but the gradual rising stakes mean you don't get totally screwed if that happens. (Unless you take the double or nothing offer. Generally not worth risking it because of that)
High Stakes is fantastic! Dark, gothy, amazing pixel art, deceptively deep gameplay. The music is incredible, and it gets more intense as you flip more cards, amping up the tension to great effect. This is a must play. Worth hustling until you beat it! Orlok is a punk and must be destroyed!
