Reviews for "Colour Knights - C3Jam"

I didn't experience any slowdown or lag in the controls and I'm on a computer that's over ten years old so not sure if some of the issues people have had are browser-specific or what. I really like the concept you have going here! The random battles were starting to feel repetitive but the tree boss shook things up. A few more enemies in the random battles would definitely jazz the rest of the game up. Great work!

Primajin responds:

Thanks, man - Yeah I had wanted to add a few more patterns and enemies but I ran out of time working on the two bosses. I'll have to get working on an update! :)
*Edit - Just noticed the deadline got extended so I've added new enemies and new patterns!

Uhm... So, it's a great game; solid controls and entertaining gameplay.
The first boss was quite a challenge, but the three-eyed fairy-moth guy got stuck firing the blue double laser in its second form, and I wonder if I'm missing something or if it just broke.

Nice game nonetheless.

Primajin responds:

Thanks :) - That was a bug, I have patched it now and it should let you proceed after defeating the 4 enemies he spawns, thanks for catching it!

Really fun but a bit too hard for me....though I'm probably just bad at the game. A solid entry that really stands out.

Nice story and background, the bullet hell is nice, with a good twist coordinating the color to the type of enemy and your vulnerability to the other types of enemies. Retro graphics are nice also.

Has a very classic RPG feel that I appreciate aesthetically. I'll admit I've never been very good at bullet hell games and while I like the color-change for immunity mechanic it still gets ridiculous with enemies that frequently change their color, finally lining up a shot to hit them when they've already changed color. Not to mention no apparent gain for the random encounters. Still you have a playable game that's decent and could be fun.

I want to wish all fellow game designers and artists good luck in the Construct 3 Game Jam!

Primajin responds:

Thanks for the comment :) -
The random encounters were intended more as practice for the bosses than as a means to gaining exp or something similar.
