Reviews for "The Sword and the Fox"

Its great, but it would be great if the text wasn't so slow.

I enjoyed the characters and the story but I would really
like there to be choices of what to say, good and bad endings
and to know things like what else happens after the MC's fresh
start, Do the MC and the princess fall in love or are they just
friends? and is the curse ever broken?

wait thats it?

and yeah text was a lil too slow there should be an option for text speed. Its only slow when a character is talking, outside of that you can fast forward text by clicking twice.

Honestly I wished there was more to this, I thought this would make a pretty nice visual novel/game and I was really invested into the characters. I was hoping there'd be a twist here or there.

Good job in making this, it was beautiful, and I can only wish for this to be expanded upon. More options, different route paths, good and bad endings, unlockable things like doing a side quest or giving an item to someone or helping someone reach their small/large goal, like with the tanuki perhaps.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I do wish I could have added more, unfortunately, I was on a deadline on top of having to keep it under a half hour so the people who were judging it for the game jam could get through it easily. I don't know why the text with sound is so slow, I'm guessing it's due to the script I used for it. I may just remove that in a future update so it's playable on web browsers. In the meantime, I would download it. Thank you for the feedback.

that text was painfully slow if it were sped up like in the parts where no one is meant to be talking it would be fine but as it is i cant sit there waiting for the text to very slowly appear onscreen wouldn't be so bad if the skip button worked or some setting or clicking the mouse made the text just come on without it needing to be put up one letter every century

Oh hey this looks promising, the characters talk a bit slowly but it's always nice to have the story be about mythological creatures and SEXY FOX LADY.
