i love this short little story, but i have to admit when its over you feel like you got ropped for a cliffhanger or something, but its still by far one of the best games i have played this year!

Very cool! The pixel art and music fit well with the story. There were a few typos though, but I assume this is wip so I'm exited to see were it goes!
The Skip-Button doesn't work, the text is too slow.
Great art though and I like the concept.

I have removed the typing sound script which should make the game run smoother on browsers and not abysmally slow like before. Thanks for the feedback.
Quick fix for your problem and the reason people are hating this- if it's a bug with simulatenously displaying text and playing sounds like you wrote, then disable that sound. Nothing to think about and maybe your vision for this game will suffer but at least people will be able to play the game.
Even normal text should be 30% faster.
It's really good, but please fix it quickly!

I have been working at fixing this issue with the text being slow. an update should be live soon to fix this.
I didn't bother getting past the intro before giving up--there's no option to speed up the text and if that's how it's going to be through the entire game, then you'll be lucky if anyone bothers to get through it to actually play the game. I'm sure it's a great game, but I wouldn't know because of it. give us an option to click the mouse or hit a button to get all of the text in one shot, PLEASE.
