Reviews for "( Original ) Nesia Legend of Cosieda Episode 1"

As far as anime goes, its alright. Fight scene are cool, voice acting is well done and its already 216 times better than Misty/Chronexia one. You did all the animation by yourself? Top of my hat to you. I hope to see more of it in the futur, even if i know this probably take a really considerable amount of time.

BestofNesia responds:

Thanks! And yeah, all the animation is done by me. As far as the time it took, I had quite a few issues with getting voice actors for it and also a big one where I almost quit completely due to bad issues at home, but usually I get things done fast and have been complimented on that a bit. As for the story, it seems bad at first glance since I like to keep people guessing a little to much. I most likely will what's happening easier to make out since people seem to have a hard time with it.

Impressive!

But I think that they should blink a little more, watching them not blinking for long periods of time is kinda creepy.

Nice job!!!!

But It needed to be polished, some parts of the animation and audio are not so good.

The rest is one of the better jobs viewed in NG!, 4.5/5 and fav guy!!!

The biggest pro is the animation quality for an original anime. It's well above average, so I have to give credit for that.

As far as voice acting is concerned, the female cast member was the only one I felt was an experienced voice actor, primarily due to her having the widest range of expressed emotions. Some had poor mic quality, like the one playing the blonde boy. The other two bad guys didn't really give me the sense of emotional depth. They could certainly read their lines well, and some actors can't even do that, but I didn't genuinely feel true emotional depth from them.

The biggest drawback, is the lack of context in the story. There's literally no explanation about this anime's world, the characters' histories, the abilities of this anime, the species, etc. I tried to find more information, but couldn't. Watching this fight was similar to watching a random car chase: I'm not emotionally invested in how it ends. Why? Because I don't know the characters involved, or why they're doing this in the first place.

So the main pros were the animation quality, and Hikari's voice acting. I can't give an accurate estimation of the story or characters, as they all need more explanation.

thrown in the middle of the story with no setup or build up into the main plot around you and no main character established off the bat to connect with as the plot along, yep that's mainly why I was confused and gave up listening 10min into it. I'm certain that this will turn out fruitful however I felt like I was watching a music video but without the tunes to accompany the action. The intro music was authentic and a nice touch but the intro itself didn't do anymore than show off a few nameless characters and try to hook you with a catchy song. Also the song ended way to abruptly. fade to silence is never an easy transition when the music beat has your attention. it left me feeling half fulfilled. Overall the project shows promise. please continue to improve.

BestofNesia responds:

Yeah, you're right. Then again, this anime is meant to be very different then others. There's also the fact that I took a " keep them guessing approach " and it seems to be working as most viewers seem confused at what the plot is and who the characters are. As for the song cutting short, I was running out of patience in a way. I'm glad you see promise in the overall project, though! I'll make sure it improves!
