Why is there the option to tape the gas cannister in Scenario B? It doesn't seem to do anything.

ZeroDigitZ responds:

Due to time constraints, I wanted to implement a scenario where if you didn't tape the gas canister, the character would pass out, but I may add this feature back in a future update. I just left this item in the game to further the story-line for now.

Yup, you got me pretty well with this one. A really interesting thriller adventure game in this old fashioned top-down animated style. As I have said before it's really hard to make games in this style or genre as it has already been done many times, but this one really surprised me on the story front, and made me want to keep going for more. The start is a little bit cliché (the hero starts having just been knocked in the head, therefore suffering from bad amnesia and can't remember how he got into the situation), but it builds for a pretty good atmosphere and a surprising ending. The additional choices and scenarios also add extra replayability value. Although a bit short (if you exclude the reading) and simplistic from a gameplay stand point, I still think this is a very solid game, only missing a few niche touches(like an achievement system so you can track your progress, and maybe a possibility to change the key mapping. I have made a let's play of the game over here: https://youtu.be/c2voE8AQvOI . Although long I only got one ending, which does show that the story is quite intriguing... combined with a matching music this is among the best RPG maker games out there. Good luck and make more like these.

It looks interesting, but when I read the Avery Note I received an error message saying data/Map054.json failed to load. Possible bug? Otherwise I watch the videos and greatly enjoyed it!

Interesting story, although some of the art looked badly scaled and took me away from what was really going on in the game. But overall pretty fun game!
