Really awesome, enjoying it so far ;P There's a lot to improve on, (It's a little too floaty, the air attack is super slow and the chain mecanics... eh- I tried to avoid the chain- it feels like it should be a near instant thing, at the moment you need to press it almost as soon as you left the ground xD

Still have yet to complete the game- stuck on the word puzzle in the mansion- I'm not the best at these kind of puzzles- pale... bites... doesn't talk but whispers... 5 letters- ah- I'll get through it eventually- using brute force or waiting for a guide xD

RayBeckham responds:

Not whispers, they whistle! They're under your eyes but you can't see them. I'm serious when I say they bite! Some are pointy, others are flat.

fun game but controls are hard.

This game is good, but dying, instead of feeling like something that can help me get better at the game, is annoying. Not annoying as in i want to rage over it. Annoying in a way in which dying is more of a fault of not doing something that the level design commands. When i die and it's because of the level and not slow reflexes of something like that, it doesn't help my over all skill improve but rather my skill of that particular level. To be honest, the ice level specifically seems like pretty poor level design. I read people saying this game is like Legacy of Kain and Catslevania, both of which i haven't played in a while, so maybe that may be it.

Everything is decent. The animation seems to flow smoothly enough, the vampire mechanics intriguing, and the story- from what I know of it- seems to hint at something more. However, I didn't have fun playing this. Why? The hook and chain is slow and limited, making platforming difficult. The buttons, as well, do not feel very comfortable. Having the ring finger on the jump button seems a little counter-intuitive to a platformer. And finally, the most grievous offense is the slippery nature of the player character's movements. These slippery controls make platforming unnecessarily hard and frustrating. To a platformer, this is the most damning, as precision jumps are the focus of them. The tightness of the controls is he thing that determines the enjoyment of a player, and I have to say, unfortunately, this game is ruined because of this one factor.

very cool! what do i do about to spine wheel in the castle.

RayBeckham responds:

You gotta chop 'em in the head.
