Reviews for "Every Man's Refund"

This is the absolute best parody spoof on this game, I would have given you another star but the game didn't crash! I just couldn't help but laugh at the gold stars with his face in them! You my good sir have one hell of a sense of humor!

Skudge responds:

Hahaha fake game crashing was actually on my to do list, just never got around to it. Thanks!

Tbh, this is a really well made game. It has a lot of suprises, and i enjoyed it.

I did have problems though. I found no way to get more energy to my mining laser, and after fixing my ship, (and entering it) i found no way to lift off. (Yes i clicked "W" but it just said that the ship thrusters were empty.)

The game was only fun after i first died, as that was when i was allowed to explore, and when the ship actually worked.

Overall, great game. 3.5 stars, would have gotten 4 if it had shown how to re-fill mining laser and how to lift off ship.

Skudge responds:

Thanks! You have to charge them in your inventory using the minerals that you mine.

I actually made an account just for this.
This was really well done, a light hearted jab to game to a game that was bad only compared to its hype. You stripped it to the base elements and applied them effectivley for the purposes of parody while also not making something shitty (side of the mouth) like some other "parodies", I'm looking at you epic movie.
Even if someone hadn't played no mans sky they would understand your problems with it which is the essence of satire.
keep it up.

Skudge responds:

Appreciate the review, thanks! Honestly this game was just too easy to parody, what with all the lies spewing from Sean's mouth just months before release. I try to not get hyped for games that aren't coming out for a long time, but I watched some gameplay and interviews right before it was released and still just felt like I was tricked into buying basically a walking simulator.

I was so glad I pirated no mans sky.... I was thinking of pre ordering but thought "nah, better wait untill there are reviews". Saved 60 bucks that would have been spent on a teardrop machine.

Nice parody!

Skudge responds:

Thanks! Another perfect example of why you should never preorder anything

I had some fun doing this although the first time I could not find an iron plate or a store. When I did my video I actually got to the first station. I enjoyed it for what it was.
