Reviews for "Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer"

Game play was very challenging. I enjoyed solving different puzzles and unlocking new scenes for exploration. Unfortunately, I was stuck at several places and had to used the walk through. First, I didn't know I could move the puppet on the stage. Second, I didn't know what to do with a dog barking. Third, I didn't know how to operate the symbols although I had found the clues. Last but not the least, I couldn't comprehend the music notes. I sorta knew that I had to play them somewhere.

Graphics, sound effects, and animations are great. After I found two more half-dead human beings, I just wanted to get out of this creepy place. Then, my game screen started to lag, I waited very impatiently and finally got out with an Exit ticket. *pff* Good bye, Mr. Crow.

One puzzle is so specific that it almost drove me mad and the controls were so unresponsive that I had the right solution to four different puzzled that would not work simply because the game hadn't registered my mouse click. A great atmosphere means nothing if the game is this hard to control.

Really fun and with great atmosphere. But the puppet position puzzle is way too specific and the music cuts out after a while and kinda kills the atmosphere.

5 Stars for this well thought out game!

I had to brute force a couple of puzzles when I got two of the three clues needed, and I actually had to look up one puzzle via the walkthrough...the one with the broom was the one that caught me off guard, but most of all the puzzles always had a corresponding clue for it somewhere in the game. So nothing there should have been left out.

I also caught your Monty Python reference. Nice!

It was a challenge, but for those like me who are familiar with escape room games, the name of the game is to search EVERYTHING for hints. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed this and will definitely check your channel out for more.

Thanks!

The puzzles were fantastic and challenging, but I was kind of disappointed with the voiceover work in the intro and outro. I also think the soundtrack you had didn't exactly fit the 'creepy carnival' vibe that I'm pretty sure you were going for, but overall it was a great game.
