Reviews for "Red Vs Arceus- first 1/4"

The time and effort you put into this project certainly shows during the animation.
I'd say it's more than worth it for you to continue it and judging by some of the other reviewers, i'm not the only one who'd like to see more of this in the future.

Here's hoping you end up doing the 3 other parts (or possibly finish it all at once and submit it as one big animation?).

such a cliff hanger, I imagine charizard comes out and fight him with flame thrower, arceus doges kicks charizard from behind, charizard evolves to megacharizard and balances the fight, they exchange blows then finally charizard pulls a fire beam as well as arceus puts out a beam of lightning and charizard loses the fight, red then throws another pokemon onyx to fight arceus but still they are evenly match despite onyx is a rock type, onyx suddenly evolved to mega onyx and smashed arceus after dodging his beam and when arceus weakened from the blow finally red catches arceus. movie end.

congrats, you learned the "Still image shonen syndrome"!
Seriously though, don't you think 20 second of zoom-in followed by 25 second of zoom-out on an almost still-image is a bit too much of... "nothing" ? It felt like watching that one scene from naruto right after he turns into a fox vs orochimaru... you know, with the 2 minutes of still-image and zoom-in/out and a few texture elements.

At least you got that technique down. Now you just need to balance the stuff so it feels less like a drag to make.

TiganAnimation responds:

It was supposed to be a 'calm before the storm' kind of thing, but surely you can understand why I abandoned the project if I put so much work into 'nothing'..
Just imagine the workload when something actually happened. ._.'

Thanks for the input, I'll keep it in mind when working on building tension. I'm not much of a director though. What do you mean by 'balancing the stuff'?

don't waste your time with this it's not worth it, at least in making it into a series. Instead why not create your own original version of these monster jollies, with your own characters. rather than ripping them off of nintendo, because when is all said and done you will not get any credits, they do!. if is to show your skills then it's ok! but for a series it's not! cool!... your only feeding them and not you or your and shut you down! unless you have tons of money and is going to fight them over there characters. because there jerks!. just look how they shut down that guy who remade mario 64 it went viral!, it's not like there going to make another mario 64, but they still brought him down.

you get 2 stars because i don't know what your true intentions are base on this and your description.

TiganAnimation responds:

The finished project was/is meant as a standalone piece and was started for my own enjoyment. Just something entertaining for one to watch and to practice/develop my skills. I wouldn't put nearly as much effort into a project if it were going to be a series, nor do I have the directing/writing capabilities for such an undertaking. I have no interest in profit or credit for the monster jollies, and unconcerned with nintendo taking any action.. and you sound like you have a personal grudge with the franchise. I almost hadn't posted this video at all anyways.
My next project is also a ripoff and being produced for the same reasons.. my own enjoyment and continuing to build my skills. Keep an eye out! ;)

Dude you tease it was just getting good ^^.

Kind regards,
