Reviews for "Galaxy Siege 3"

Played for a couple of hours, had a lot of fun, but things got repetitive and i was only on lvl 20 from 127. My suggestion is make it shorter and add a storyline, for the amount of work you put into this game it's a shame it's missing that little bit to transform it from just a grindfest.

Nice concept, but grinding games aren't the type for me...esp. when it's even slow just to grind...

Reset the game after reading reviews and focused on laser/rifle/shields when chances presented. Decided to give up mid-way through the game when I couldn't progress any further. There was one side level I couldn't beat where the boss had lasers that just destroys the ship. Completely ignores shields from what I could tell. Also, got suck are the point where every boss started throwing a spinning weapon. No way to dodge it and again, shreds your ship apart.

Aside from the difficulty skyrocketing it's a pretty solid game.

Current ship set up is shown below. S=Shield R=Rifle L=Laser G=Grabber F=Fuel C=Cabin A=Alien
-- -- -- S -- -- --
R S A A A S R
R L L L L L R
G L F G C L G

Any suggestions? Lasers/Rifles @ lvl5 Shield's @ lvl3

It's okay, just okay. The pros are the graphics and the audio, all in all the game is very nice. It plays very well during the first 20 levels or so, but after that the satisfaction is gone.

As the missions go by, the game becomes less and less interesting. I am nearly at the end of the gameplay, manage to get this far out of pure stubbornness, but this is very unrewarding.

Two major glitches that I've noticed:
1. The game sometimes "disappears" for no reason. I won't elaborate, since TheArsonist77 already mentioned this.
2. On several levels the boss was very chalenging, to the point where I just barely could defeat it. Problem is we sometimes both die the exact same instant (what are the odds?), and when that happens, the planet is cleared, but I am unable to choose an upgrade. Very frustrating.

So, I ground my way through the entire game. One star for being addictive. Another star for the graphics, they are very suitable for this genre of game.

But... that is it. The final 70 or so levels were exactly the same - other than adding the higher level alien guns to my ship as I collected them, I changed absolutely nothing on my ship for the majority of the game. Ended up finishing with 130,000 crystals with nothing to spend them on.

Just buy shields, lasers and use call for help when you get to the boss.

I don't recommend playing all the way through - you get nothing out of it. The end is "Thanks for saving the galaxy" and *bang* all progress is lost.
