Well this certainly didn't make me jump or almost crap myself. Nope not at all!
Seriously though, good stuff. Your work generally has excellent ambiance.
One minor quibble would be that the inventory bar is dimmed along with the environment.
The cursor lag wasn't too bad though it would be helpful if it did something to indicate when it passes over something clickable.
I love your games. The art work is amazing, the stories are wicked (No pun intended), and I love the songs you play! The sinister show tunes make these games all the more amazing! I just wish that the music would play longer or a some sort of loop, the further you get away, the more echo-y it gets. Kinda like what you did in the first Alice is Dead. Hated the skin collector.. Damn near jumped outta my seat (Which is another way of saying mission accomplished). I'm really excited to see what you do with this series! Please keep up with the fantastic work.
As always, I love the game. The snarky quips that your protagonists make always make me grin. The quality of the art is always getting better, and the hints at several different backstories are so terribly intriguing. I enjoy that you went with silver shoes for the witch like in the book. Will the wizard be a malevolent being in this story, or a malicious being? I'm excited to find out.
I did have to click around and look back at things for a bit before I could find the key out, but I like that you got me to look at all of the scritchy messages on the walls before I just stepped out without relevant information! Will there be a badass Toto in the future? Will we find out who Emma is? Can't wait to see!
