I knew there would be a jumpscare and i still flinched. Personally i think the backround noise was good, cause it set most of the mood. i was rlly excited to see a new game from u especially since it ties into the alice series!

So, I didn't really play the game cause of the comments saying there is a jump scare and I can't handle that. But I am sure this game is superb just like your other games. I'm giving you 4.5 because I would have preferred a warning in either the game or the author's notes.
Had to hide in the comments for a bit to psyche myself up to continue >.< like the style and concept of this, music really made me think of fallout but it suited the theme, thumbs up!

You and Mateusz Skutnik (Pastel Games) are by far the best point'n'click flash game makers out there. Ever thought about teaming up? I like your sort of macabre/noir style of storytelling, whereas Mateusz Skutnik has an incredible amount of atmosphere in all his drawings (which isn't to say you don't). Just a thought.
Anyways, I'm not a big fan of jump scares. I don't think they add anything to the game and seem like a bit of a cheap gimmick. However, despite that, I can't bring myself to give you anything less a 5 because your games continue to be of consistently high quality. I can't wait to play the next game in this series.

Yeah, I've played most of his games and totally dig them! Never thought to team up though. I tried to keep this scare tasteful, like, I didn't want it to seem cheap. I tried to handle the way it moves and stuff in an interesting and believable way. I've never done this kind of game before, I'm hoping that works for me rather than against me. One of my previous hood games had a creature that appears, everyone called it a jumpscare but that was not my intention. I just wanted it to be spooky, and to give a 'image' of the ghost. It's a hard thing to balance, and a really hard thing to do right. A few people have commented that mine seems different than others, I hope that is a good thing.
Its OK. When I went back to the hall, I jumped.
