wow

i love the choir, soo deep and full of emotion with just a simple "ah"

bells were awesome! set a grave tone to it.

great percussion, it puts me in a mood right from the start.

i love how the violin sometimes hit two notes at once, almost like a violin duet or something.

i wasn't expecting a flute in here at all, but you made it fit in so perfectly!

it sounds like this song is building and building..
like everyone is gearing up for battle, they're ready for what's to come. they meetin a wide open field to see their opponent on the other side. one soldier thinks about what he's fighting for, his wife, his children, and his fellow mates. each of the leaders stare at each other ready for one to make the first move..
the bell sounds, in slow motion, yelling in complete silence, both charge towards the middle of the field.. then it fades to black...

wow.. i soooo wish i could make amazing flashes... it would go great for a war movie teaser.

i dont really have much to criticize about this, i'm a noob at orchestral pieces, but i can't help but hear some man's vocals in here, yelling at his soldiers, giving them the speach before battle... but.. i'm just thiinkin theatrics now. :)

i2

keep em comin

MaestroRage responds:

Oh look at silly Maestro replying to his reviews one week late X_x, I apologize, life has been quite unkind as of late.

In any case.

I'm glad you liked the piece i2, the images you present in your review, is quite close to the image in my head during it's construction, but with the war going nuts in my head, the song lost direction, and as said many times before, my production skills were quite lacking.

Oh well, one day I will return to this piece, polish it up nice and right, and spit it out again, remixed!

Thank you for the review i2, again, i'm glad you enjoyed the piece ^^.

A Wonderful Song!

I do enjoy this very much. I am writing a book on the internet called Incident:Chaos. At one point the demon is giving this short speech and calls upon his minions...which end up being Plague Doctors..and the bell is the warning bell and so on...I do incredibly like your music. As soon as I get an animation program -which is hopefully soon- I shall make an animation with the Spread of Chaos.

MaestroRage responds:

A demon speech eh!? Oh I do love a good evil speech >:}. Plague doctors, is a really good name for minions. You could have them be all like "His death was a HUGE success!", because they're so full of hate and evil you see :D!

But seriously, I am quite a writer myself, if there is someplace I could go to read over your material please let me know.

If you do pick up animating, I wish you the best. I tried it myself, and as it turns out, I can't animate for beans :P.

Thank you for your kind words, and the review. I am glad you like my work, they are there after all for enjoyment!

I can picture this song as.....

At the midevil times, lies a small town. The town is peaceful, full of innocent merchants and people. The town is suddenly attacked by the Templars. With no weapons or armor, they are powerless against the oncoming enemy. As they search the town, the citizens hide, hoping the horrid knights do not find them....

MaestroRage responds:

An interesting story stormtrooper... a very interesting story indeed. The original story I wrote for this story was that of an overpowering enemy. Ruthless, dominating, and filled with a cold anger which ran deep into every single soul that would find itself thrown into the chaos of that fight.

Of course, your story is also valid, and works out very well imagery wise.

Thank you for the story, and the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Knock Knock...

It's the boogie man! I'll SLICE YOU UP! That's what I see when I hear this... Being chased by an insane monster intent on making me it's meal. Running forever...

yay,i can keep writing!

ok, i really like this one it has really good drums in the beginning(i think they are drums.) and the strings shortly after the song began.(if those werent string instruments i am sorry) were awsome. you have really hit this one...this song is so good it left an image in my head,as have all of your songs but i think i will write this one.
begins:a man is being sentenced to death for an unforgivable crime
0:06,he is in his cell remembering how he ended up here and how it was before.
0:18,he is told by the guard that it wont be long before he is under the guillotine.
0:33,the guard opens the door and leads him from his cell into the town square.
0:57,he is out in the square and he sees his last sights, the people who hate him and that forasaken guillotine

1:21,he is up to the guillotine and pushed into place, his eyes on the people as they cheer for his death
1:33,one of the higher subjects of the king goes up and reads the mans crimes as the executioner tightens his grip on the rope
1:45,the subject finishes reading and walks away, the people in the square cheering for blood, the executioner laughs as he pulls the rope
1:57,the mans head rolls onto the cobbled road, his eyes staring upwards into the sky, forever watching the days go by.
and then the song ends

it is bleek but it is the vision i get from this song, anyhoo, great song and as always a 5 and a 10 for you sir.
