The graphic quality was great. However, as some said before, it's a shame the ending was blurred. Thought i's a bit short and that the story is somehow hard to follow, I think the base idea has lot of potential. A thing or two made me puzzled thought; how can a brush make pencil-like strokes? The teddy's ears are full of them.... Anyway, the work in itself is impressive for a first and i'm eager to see more of your work in the future. Consider you've earned a new fan :)

lol well as to why a brush makes a pencil stroke.. the assignment in my drawing class was to create an animation about drawing.. and the dynamic paint system used to make the strokes works better with objects that have a larger surface area to mark with, such as a brush. so why didn't i just make the graphite texture a paint texture?....well...... Knowing what I do of animation and storycraft in general, and considering the work you did, this is great for a month. It's frankly great as a first submission. Could you improve it? Sure, but you show real promise. You will get better... but you're definitely on a good start.

The ending was a bit puzzling, why were the child and teddy out of focus at the end, were they beyond the view of adults? Although sort of minimalist, the models, moves and sounds were all quite attractive. Animation was smooth, I liked the overall feel and subtext, the transition from big paint lines to a finely drawn teddy bear was a bit awkward.
Overall this is an excellent first submission, with great intentions and results. In the future, do what you can to convey visual and expositional context to your tales. Or you could check out the writer's forum here, shop for a story to animate.

all notated. i will try to convey visual and ex-positional context better in the future. ^.^ i will check out the writers forum but more for advice rather then story's to animated. if I am animating someone else s tale i imagine i wont feel the animation is mine anymore (that doesn't really make sense does it? >.>). but who knows maybe somewhere down the line i might. Wow,this is fantastic,even more because it's only the first submission!The quality of character designs and the background really shows the amount of time and effort put into this.The way everything runs smoothly in here also shows that this isn't anything like the test that new animators would sometimes submit here(which unfortunately would get deleted or blammed as it's called here.)The character's expressions and his interaction with his surroundings and other characters makes him child-like and life-like(his frown after reading the note,his rolling eyes).There's also an interesting variety of art/animation styles used here from the different characters that are in here(the paper teddy bear,the two passers-by,that 'bird' flying at one minute and three seconds.)If this is only the first submission,it will be hard to think of what surprises from you will come next!This is entertaining even without a plot,so great work on this!Keep it up and good luck!
