really great game, only criticism is i wish there was an upgrade to quicken the charge, and fighting the only boss can get old, but it was really well done and it keeps you as long as you need
Pretty good game with great graphics. I did experience some severe lag several times during play. The game image would slow way down or stop completely while the game was still playing in the background. I even had the quality set at low. My browser is Google Chrome 41.
A rather excellent game which has a unique control scheme that both informs its unique and challenging gameplay and makes it a little difficult to enjoy. I would suggest making the web and lightning two separate buttons; the web still needs to be held down but launches immediate when it is ready, and the lightning is ready immediately but charges much more slowly (so that it reaches level 6 in the same or slightly longer period of time). Failing that, there should at least be some quick-to-parse visual cues (colors and/or symbols) for when you are ready to launch lightning or a web; the words beneath the spider take too long to think thru and take attention away from the enemies you are trying to dodge.
Another unfortunate thing is that one gets used to the lightning, so the boss's lightning's identical graphics don't ping any danger signals unless you constantly remind yourself that it's a thing, and then you have little brainspace left for dodging. Perhaps make the boss's lightning more cohesive, in a single bolt instead of crackling around.
This is a very creative and innovative game! I was really surprised at how much I could get into it. It was great to have automatic fire. You really have to keep on going with the webs and lightning powers. I don't know why a spider would have lightning powers. It's just a very creative game.
The music is wonderful as well. I even like the background. It's so weird, that it does take awhile to get used to. I just liked seeing the different ways the enemies lost power. I praise you for originality.
