This is phenomenal like oh my god.
The amount of thought that went into just this world is amazing. I love the way you guide the player along the story while still letting them explore for themselves. Especially in the tutorial for example. Players felt inclined to try things for yourself and if you needed the help you could just ask for it. Really creative and smart level design.
And just the touches in the control in all the mechanics is mind blowing.
Even when you dodge too much, you stop spinning because of the lack of momentum, even though leaving the player helpless, encouraging them to not spam the dodge in a way to give the combat balance.
And the controls are great. It feels good to move the character around, attack and dodge.
You guys put a lot of love and care into this, and the mix of genre's is, exactly how you define it, simple yet amazingly detailed.

This feels like a game I'd love to play on my DS, with the clicking going into the touch screen.

I may be fanboying a bit but I really didn't expect to be this blown away. XD Too many things surprised me about this and it feels like a mish-mash of all different types of games, and they're all good.

There isn't much to review here, the massive amount of effort put into the game is quite obvious. I hope you reach your funding goal .. and I'm so buying it when it comes out. :)

This game reminds me the old days, when the games were made for fun and not only for making money, i like the music, art style and the gameplay in general. I hope that this game will be successful and people notice it, because we need good games at this time.

If this game will ever get into steam, then i gonna buy it, if not, then i'll keep my eyes on it and buy it elsewhere. :) I wish good luck for the developers.

I can see why Newgrounds made sure this appears on front page.

The level of polish is great, the tutorial is effective, and the art is well done.

Good job.

PS: The shoot quickly part in the combat demo was a bit weird. I did it properly (take aim and fire regular shots) but it still said I didn't do it correctly.

This game really is amazing, for some reason I got enthralled by it the same way I did with games like FF6 or even megaman! the controls are super tight and you really feel like you're in control of the character, not to mention what little story is hinted at here is pretty darn great; can't wait for the whole thing to see light...
