Reviews for "Coming Out Simulator"

Puase

My mom reacted similarly, but I didn't actually witness it. I came out a year after moving out. I didn't want to, but it was that or let my parents hear about it from my gossiping relatives. Anyhow, I heard about the way my mom took it from my older sister.

She didn't puke or anything like that, but she did cry. She kept asking my sister to fix it (whatever that means). I've also learned multiple people have expressed I don't need to be gay just because I'm a wheelchair user; my mom included.

Initially, I thought my dad accepted it with that "I don't care" attitude. I recently learned he was saying stuff like, "He's already Asian and disabled. Does he have to check off every box?"

It felt like they had grown over time but there was a recent incident with another family member that makes me pause. Without getting into too many details, my dad did something similar to what your mother character did. He freaked out. Started going off about how girls are only bisexual because it's "trendy".

Honestly, I shouldn't be that surprised because both of my parents aren't very supportive of my trans cousin. He's been out for years now and he still gets deadnamed by family members. To their credit, they don't do it, but they have criticized him for not being "manly enough" and hiding away in his room. My mom has even said he should act more like me (this makes me feel like a complete Aunt Tammy)

I loved and felt personal with this game. Nice work!

You turned one of your hardest moments in your life to a game, powerful. And the message being "it gets better" is so true. It does get better for everybody!
