I'm not crying you're crying!

So, I enjoyed the artwork [kinda whimsical like the atmosphere of the game]. For the most part it was good, maybe it could've been better but it didn't really take away from the game so that really doesn't matter. Overall I enjoyed the music although personally I mute all games I play anyway so that's not a huge factor for me.
The stories were fantastic, I liked all of it. Most of all the 'true' ending not being particularly 'happy' while not doing the 'death to all trope'. It was a good inbetween. [And honestly I did cry at the true ending, which is astounding, I haven't cried over a video game in years]
Only criticism [on plot] I have is it wasn't really explained how the prince has his abilities [unless I just missed something]. Which sure not everything has to be thoroughly explained, but it seemed a little too big to ignore?
Aside from that the cutscenes unmute the game, and that can be irksome.

Amiralo responds:

If you go through ALL the options in Ivan's dialogue, as well as Isador's dialogue, there are several major hints dropped at the royal family being deranged throughout history. Also, Dominicus mentioned that Ivan could beat him in one of his dialogue options as well as the fact that the kingdom was created by a "magician" who wanted a perfect environment for his daughter. Ivan himself also said that he preferred not to fight because it was "messy" and that he had a very powerful ancestor who was good at magic.

So although it is not out right stated, it is strongly inferred to that Ivan was magical himself, it' just that his magical girl transformation happen to be something more akin to a Lovecraft monster than pretty cure characters.

Wow. Just Wow.

No I'm not *wipes tear* crying.
The plot twists were all really good, i regret thinking that I'd have a happy ending in this game.
I love your games a lot and how they are so twisted, it kept me curious to try out all the endings. The one that broke my heart the most was probably Dominicus' end. But i finally found out the truth in Isador's. The whole thing was a roller coaster from start to finish. Only thing I'd honestly recommend is the art style to be improved, it was all really creepy as well. The music was melancholy and I liked all of the different melodies.

Amazing game, dude!

Amiralo responds:

Thanks, dude! Glad you liked the music, go to the credits on the title page if you want to know where the music came from!

I really like the Idea for the story and the plot twists. And the connections all the people have with each other. How do you make up your stories? They are wonderful.
They do not only show simple, sappy love stories. It's more complex and always dark. Especially it becomes so bitter, if you see all the "white and pure" grafics.

A pity, that this will be your last game, but I guess reality get everybody one day. :) (I still hope, that you continue this hobby or get a job in the creative industry somewhere!) All the best for you! :)

Amiralo responds:

Thank you for your comments! They were really thoughtful.
I am actually still planning on making games, just not sim dates . I have an ambition to make a long otome games that would be 4 hours+ haha. Gonna try to make that reality before I graduate from undergrad =-=

So dark. The more I play, the darker it becomes, but still THE FEELS. YES ESPECIALLY IN THE TRUE END. IT WAS HEARTBREAKING. DAMN THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A RIDE. The art needs improvement but overall I LOVED IT.
