I think this could a nice introduction to picross for someone. The story's decent for such a short game. All around okay game.

It's not terrible. Short and sweet? If you've never played picross, then it's not a bad introduction. If you have, then it should be easy.
Um, didn't the dragons scare away all the knights? Should've made Pic a farm boy ;) Also need to add "to defeat the dragons Pic need to use the ancient art of Picross to discern the name (glyph) of the dragon, hence banishing it from the realm" or something like that.
If you've just discovered picross and are in the "moar!" frame of mind, then Pixelo (for pure picross) or NoNoSparks: The Ark (for something a little more inventive) are hard to pass.
The instructions say that a single number doesn't necessarily imply that the blue boxes in that row are contiguous, but I haven't seen a case yet where they aren't.
Also some puzzles like #7 have multiple valid solutions but only one is accepted for verification.
